The Environmental Innovation Award was given to the joint innovation of MOL and the University of Pannonia

At the 2020 Hungarian Innovation Grand Prix competition, the Hungarian Innovation Association gave the Environmental Innovation Award, entitled “Co-Processing - Joint Conversion of Biological and Fossil Raw Materials into Diesel Oils” developed by MOL and the University of Pannonia.

The result of the innovation: each liter of biogas produced during the co-processing procedure results in a reduction of approximately 2.5-3.0 kg of CO2 emissions compared to diesel obtained from crude oil.
