In the main direction No. I, “Renewable energies” the aim is to create the possibility of producing alternative motor fuels and new chemical raw materials. MOL has set itself the goal of developing solutions that enable the joint utilization and facilitating the domestic adaptation of the resulting technologies of the so-called petroleum coke (which is generated at the Százhalombatta plant as a crude oil processing residue) and other organic fractions from the processing of municipal waste in Hungary (such as non-recyclable packaging plastic waste, B-fraction, RDF, SRF, selective green waste). Within the main direction I, a laboratory reactor will be designed and constructed, which will also provide one of the specific TRL7-level commitments for the project.
